Eligible participants in this study were patients with locally advanced or metastatic (LA/M) ATC who had not previously received any type of antitumor therapy. Two to six cycles of anlotinib 12mg were administered to patients, daily from day one to fourteen, every 21 days. Paclitaxel, capecitabine, or a combination of paclitaxel and carboplatin/capecitabine formed the chemotherapy regimens. The objective response rate (ORR), disease control rate (DCR), progression-free survival (PFS), and disease specification survival (DCS) end points were all analyzed.
